If you have diabetes and you are over 12 years old, you are eligible for a free NHS diabetic eye screening appointment.
Eye screening is an important part of your diabetes care and looks for small changes in the back of your eye.
If left untreated these changes can lead to sight loss.
If you have not had your eyes checked in the last 12 months, please call us on 0116 258 3150 to book an appointment or email uho-tr.retinalscreening@nhs.net
You will be sent a letter when you are due for screening.
