Professor of Primary Care, Diabetes and Vascular Medicine in the Diabetes Research Centre, is a leading authority in diabetes and is recognised as one of the top 10 experts, globally. His expertise centres on diabetes, primary care and public health and he has published over 750 papers in the field. Kamlesh also sits on the UK’s Independent SAGE group which provides government with evidence based policies to tackle COVID-19.
